own. He told us that that Martin Valadez, the artist, lives in Tepic and was a friend of his so he'd offered to bring the painting to Guayabitos to try to sell it for him. He also told us that because Martin has no hands, this picture had been painted with his brushes held between his toes.I immediately fell in love with the stunning Mexican woman and the little girl and knew that it would look wonderful in our casa.
This amazing 36" x 24" painting was very reasonably priced at $650 pesos or $65. so we decided to give it a good home. We paid the restaurant owner the asking price and gave him a tip to pass on to Martin.
It has become one of my favourite paintings in our casa. The vivid colours complement my cobalt blue and chartreuse glassware which is displayed throughout the room.
