The View Out Front

It's a good thing we had the breakwater tidied up  'cause there's been a steady stream of Mexicans trekking back and forth out there for the past few days.   

And so much for the government no longer permitting camping on the beach.   This was the view from Casa Que Sera yesterday.   The number of day tenters and overnight campers just kept growing.

The Beaches are Packed

Well, once again, thousands of visitors have packed the beaches of La Peñita and Guayabitos.

Yesterday we took a walk down the beach and dodged all the people. This is what it looked like up and down the beach.

In amongst all these people, hundreds of musicians managed to find enough space to play and/or sing for the crowds.  These musicians come from all over to make a few bucks over Semana Santa.

Here are just a few of the bands and minstrels we  saw on our walk.

And they just keep coming.  Today will probably be the busiest day of the holiday.
